Paul Campbell

Paul Campbell is a screenwriter, and a graduate of the BBC’s Drama Writers’ Academy. Born in Canterbury in 1966, he currently lives in Bromley, South London, with his wife and three children.

Paul has been a regular writer for Doctors since 2007.  Most recently writing nine episodes for series 24. Paul has also written for Casualty, Holby City, EastEnders and The Dumping Ground.

“The White Queen”, Paul’s film noir episode of Doctors, was a critic’s choice in The Sunday Times and Radio Times in 2008.

Paul received a Wellcome Trust Broadcast Development Award to support the development of his TV drama, Madhouse.
