Many congratulations to Jon Macqueen and the Odd Squad team, for Odd Squad UK HQ, which has just been nominated for Best Live-Action Series in the Kidscreen Awards 2026 and for Outstanding Preschool, Children’s or Family Viewing Series at the 4th Annual Children’s & Family Emmy’s.
Odd Squad follows a high-tech organisation run by kids that investigates anything strange, weird and especially odd. Jon Macqueen was Lead Writer, and wrote three episodes, of this much loved US series when it came to the UK for series 4, introducing new English agents to the team. The Series aired in 2024.
Jon is currently Head Writer on The Dumping Ground S15.
The Kidscreen Awards 2026 will be presented in February, and the Children’s & Family Emmy’s in March.
