Jon Macqueen, Mark Oswin and Emma Pritchard have all written episodes of The Dumping Ground S14, for CBBC. Jon was also Lead Writer for the series!
The new series of The Dumping Ground will bring new challenges and adventures, including new arrivals, strained friendships, and big decisions.
Jon has written episodes 1 & 6. Mark has written episodes 2 & 9. And Emma has written episode 3. Jon is now Head Writer for S15, with Mark and Emma writing episodes.
Series 14 will begin airing on Friday 23rd January at 6pm on CBBC. Episodes will be released weekly and become available on BBC iPlayer after airing.
Jon Macqueen is a writer and producer whose credits include Odd Squad (Lead Writer) (CBBC), Goldie’s Oldies (Nickelodeon), Lagging (Writer/Producer) (CBBC), In The Long Run (Sky) and his original pilot Hailmakers (Writer/Producer) (BBC).
Mark Oswin has written on several CBBC shows including all versions of So Awkward, Lagging, 4 O’Clock Club and Danger Mouse. Mark was lead writer on Nickelodeon’s Goldies Oldies. Most recently, Mark has written episodes of High Hoops S2 and the upcoming brand-new series Girl Troop vs Aliens. Mark also worked on feature screenplays for Four Kids & It, and Grand Prix of Europe.
Emma Pritchard is a playwright and screenwriter from Dorset. Emma has written across several series of King Bert’s Malory Towers and Magic Light’s Pip & Posy. Emma’s short form podcast Holy Shit! was produced by Hat Trick, and she is currently writing a radio play for BBC R4.
