Copycat performs in York ahead of Edinburgh Fringe

Joe Sellman-Leava is performing a work-in-progress show of Copycat at Theatre@41 in York, as part of the theatre’s Halfway to Edinburgh season.

Copycat examines the links between art, fascism and rapid technological change, told through the story of a teacher, a student, and a copycat dictator.

Joe is a Fringe First-winning writer and performer, and Copycat will be the fifth show he has taken to the festival. His show It’s The Economy, Stupid! will also return this year, after previously sold-out runs and terrific reviews.

Joeis performing Copycat at 7:30pm on 23rd July in York ahead of its month-long run at Edinburgh Festival Fringe this August, where he’ll be on at Pleasance Jack Dome from 5th to 31st.
