Deborah Moggach is writing The Marigold Forever, a sequel to her popular novel The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, which was adapted into a film starring Maggie Smith, Judi Dench and Bill Nighy.
Deborah has said, “I had the best fun writing this. Maybe because the time has caught up with us baby boomers, we’re a different generation and I could draw from my own somewhat colourful past. And, quite frankly, I’d now love to check into the Marigold Hotel myself. It’s always been there, in all its glory, in my head and my heart. Some things never change.”
Tinder Press will publish The Marigold Forever on 15th July 2027. The press also published Deborah’s novels The Carer and The Black Dress.
