Eva O’Connor has contributed writing to Theatre Gu Leòr’s 10-year anniversary showcase An t-Ùrlar as Àirde – ‘The Highest Stage’.
Theatre Gu Leòr is Scotland’s leading Gaelic theatre company and An t-Ùrlar as Àirde will feature extracts from their most unique and ambitious productions, including a scene Eva wrote for its trilingual play Taigh/Tŷ/Teach.
The showcase opens on 30th September at Cnoc Soilleir, South Uist, and will go on to tour in Portree, Inverness, Stornoway and Glasgow through to November. Tickets to all the performances can be found on the Theatre Gu Leòr website.
Eva O’Connor is an award-winning Irish writer and performer based in London, who creates work for stage and screen. Her latest play For Dolores recently enjoyed a sold-out festival run at the Traverse Theatre in Edinburgh, where it received rave reviews and won a Bragi Award.
