Ciara Conway has written Episodes 2 and 6 of the brand-new detective thriller An Impossible Way To Die, which is due to air in 2027 on Channel 5.
First-look images have been released of the new show, starring Sharon Rooney and Emmett J Scanlan, as DS Katie Salter and DI Niall Conway.
The empathetic and optimistic DS Salter must team up with lead investigator DI Conway to solve a seemingly impossible case, but her grounded approach soon clashes with his all-consuming dedication to the job. As the detectives race against time to unmask a killer, the case grows increasingly more complicated, conspiracies emerge and lives are put at risk.
Ciara is a BAFTA Scotland-nominated screenwriter. Her credits include The Teacher S3, Granite Harbour, The Wives, For Her Sins, Screw, Whitstable Pearl and Sister Boniface.
