Created and written by Nancy Harris, The Dry is returning for its second series.
The 8×30’ comedy drama picks up seven months on from the events of the first series, and now we meet the Sheridans in their new normal. To all outward appearances, it seems like the family is relatively content: Shiv’s been sober, celibate, and solvent for six months, Ant has hung onto his job at the estate agents and his relationship with Max, and Caroline’s making up for lost time on dating apps. So far, so normal… Or is it?

The second series of The Dry will become available to stream on ITVX on Thursday 14th March.
Paddy Breathnach returned to direct the second series, with the cast including Roisin Gallagher, Ciarán Hinds, Pom Boyd, Adam Richardson, and Siobhán Cullen. For Element Pictures, ITVX and RTE.
