BBC Audio Drama Awards 2024: Colin MacDonald’s An Eye For A Killing on the Shortlist

Colin MacDonald’s An Eye For A Killing (BBC Scotland) is on the Shortlist for the BBC Audio Drama Awards in the Best Original Series or Serial category.

Written by Colin MacDonald and narrated by Jack Lowden, An Eye For A Killing tells the gripping story of Scotland’s most notorious serial killers William Burke and William Hare, who in 1828, murdered 16 people. Colin went back to original trial records and witness statements to cast light on the lives of the victims, and to discover why only one of the killers went on trial, while the other walked free.

All five episodes of An Eye For A Killing are available on BBC Sounds.

The winners of the BBC Audio Drama Awards will be announced on Sunday 24th March in a ceremony in the Radio Theatre at BBC Broadcasting House London.

Colin MacDonald is represented by Rochelle Stevens.
