The BBC and Fable Pictures have announced further casting for MR LOVERMAN, an 8 x 30’ adaptation by Nathaniel Price, based on Bernardine Evaristo’s novel.
Alongside the previously announced Lennie James as the exuberant protagonist Barrington Jedidiah Walker will be Sharon D. Clarke, as Carmel Walker, Barrington’s wife of five decades. Ariyon Bakare plays Barrington’s best friend and soulmate, Morris De La Roux, and Tamara Lawrance and Sharlene Whyte star as Barrington and Carmel’s daughters, Maxine and Donna.
