Big Talk have released new images of Ludwig, created and written by Mark Brotherhood

Mark Brotherhood has created and written Ludwig, a new BBC One comedy drama series, starring David Mitchell and Anna Maxwell-Martin.

Reclusive puzzle-setter John ‘Ludwig’ Taylor sees his life of solitude turned upside down when his identical twin brother, James, disappears without a trace. In a quest to track James down, Ludwig assumes his brother’s identity, but by taking over every aspect of James’ life, Ludwig is forced to confront his own. Unlike Ludwig, James is no hermit; he’s a family man and a highly respected DCI within Cambridge’s busy Major Investigations Team.

The cast of series regulars are Dipo Ola, Gerran Howell, Izuka Hoyle, Dyland Hughes, Dorothy Atkinson, Sophie Willan, and Ralph Ineson. Guest stars include Derek Jacobi, Felicity Kendal, Rose Ayling-Ellis and more.

The 6×60 series is a Big Talk Studios in association with That Mitchell and Webb Company production for BBC One and BBC iPlayer.

Ludwig starts on BBC One and BBC iPlayer in the Autumn.
