Lucy Cant is from London. She studied fine art at Camberwell College of Arts and the University of East London, where she did her writing on walls, objects and sometimes toilet doors. Now she writes on paper and, despite having moved to Toronto in 2001, London remains at the heart of her stories and characters.
Her first novel, One Inch Galleon, is the East End tale of a teenaged girl’s journey through an underworld of boys, booze, murders, psychics, Elvis impersonators and ghosts.
Lucy is also working on her second novel, a love story set between Mexico and Tooting.
