The British Academy of Film and Television Arts has announced the nominations for its annual British Academy Children’s Awards, which honour the very best in children’s media. Leading the way with four nominations is Debbie Moon’s supernatural drama Wolfblood, in the Drama, Writer (for Debbie Moon) and Performance (for Aimee Kelly and Bobby Lockwood) categories. Wolfblood is also in the Top 10 of the BAFTA Drama Kids’ Vote. The ceremony will be held on Sunday 24 November.
The second series of Wolfblood (CBBC/ZDF) has just finished its first transmission on CBBC. Debbie wrote six of the 13 episodes. The original series won the RTS Children’s Drama Award 2012, and Disney have picked up the series for worldwide distribution.
Debbie Moon is represented by Rochelle Stevens.
