Deborah Moggach’s new novel out 28th February

Deborah Moggach’s forthcoming novel Heartbreak Hotel has been recommended in the Independent on Sunday books preview of 2013, by literary editor Katy Guest:

“Deborah Moggach is practically a national treasure now, especially after the film adaptation of her last novel, The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel. Her next, Heartbreak Hotel … is about a “Courses for Divorces” wheeze run from a rural Welsh B&B, Myrtle House, and is just as gentle, funny and wise as Marigold Hotel.”

Heartbreak Hotel is published by Chatto and Windus, and will be available from 28th of February. The novel has been optioned to Ruby Films, and Deborah will write the adaptation. Her screenplay for the 2005 movie of Pride and Prejudice, starring Keira Knightley, was nominated for a BAFTA, and she is currently working on Soho Girls (ITV Studios) and The Kill (TXTV/BBC).
