Eva O’Connor’s new play For Dolores for Fishamble: The New Play Company will have its world premiere this summer in Limerick, Galway, Dún Laoghaire and Edinburgh.
It will open at Belltable in Limerick (9th – 11th July), then move to Mick Lally Theatre in Galway (14th – 18th July) as part of the Galway International Arts Festival. After that it will head to Pavilion Theatre in Dún Laoghaire (22nd – 26th July) before a month-long run at the Edinburgh Fringe (6th – 30th August), where it will be performed at Traverse Theatre as part of the Culture Ireland Showcase.
For Dolores is about friendship, motherhood and coming to terms with your worst mistakes. Two friends, Mo (the Scottish one) and Réaltín (the Irish one), are like twin stars in obsessive orbit, it’s a friendship, a rivalry and an adventure. Risk is a delicious pleasure: until it all explodes in the blink of an eye.
Tickets are available now for Limerick and Dún Laoghaire, and tickets for Galway go on sale on Friday 8th May.
