I’m Not Being Funny premieres in one week!

Piers Black’s play I’m Not Being Funny has its world premiere at Bush Theatre, one week from today!

Billie has signed up herself, and husband Peter, to do a stand-up comedy night. So they’re locking themselves in their living room until they’ve got a ‘tight five’. With the clock ticking and nothing but a baby monitor for an audience, Billie and Peter wrestle with the spotlight as questions about their future are forced to the surface.

I’m Not Being Funny is about hope, endings and how to survive if a knock knock joke hits you in the gut. It will be performed at Bush Theatre from 7th May to 13th June, its run extended due to popular demand. It will then transfer to Bristol Old Vic’s Weston Studio from 23rd to 27th June.

Tickets are available now on Bush Theatre’s website!
