I’m Not Being Funny transfers to Bristol Old Vic

Piers Black’s play I’m Not Being Funny opens at Bristol Old Vic next week!

Following its successful run at Bush Theatre, I’m Not Being Funny will play in Bristol Old Vic’s Weston Studio from 23rd to 27th June.

Billie has committed herself, and husband Peter, to do a stand-up comedy night. So they’re locking themselves in their living room until they’ve got a ‘tight five’, delving through their past for material. But some jokes hurt and laughter isn’t always the best medicine.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️½ “By the end, the play leaves the audience feeling emotionally drained in the best way—laughing, uncomfortable, and deeply moved all at once.” – London Theatre Reviews

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “Black’s writing is a delicious concoction of humour, heart, emotion and intensity” – Theatre Weekly

Tickets are available now on the Bristol Old Vic website.
