Jurassic at Soho Theatre Reviews!

Piers Black has directed Tim Foley’s Jurassic, which is coming to the end of its London run at Soho Theatre Dean Street.

Jurassic is a vicious new comedy about disinformation and dinosaurs, and the reviews are in…

“The direction by Piers Black is dynamic and engaging, leaning into abstraction without losing clarity: power shifts are staged physically and creatively, becoming increasingly detached from naturalism as the story evolves… Black’s choices in the studio space are elegant and confident.” – A Young(ish) Perspective

“Piers Black’s delicious between-scene moments.” – Guardian

“The dynamic between Dean (Holt) and Jay (Michael) is elevated by the excellent direction by Piers Black.” – All That Dazzles

“Piers Black’s slick direction means that the tug of war between Dean and Jay never grows slack.” – The Spy in the Stalls

Piers is a theatre writer and director and is associate directing on Singin’ In The Rain at the Royal Exchange Theatre in Manchester which will run from Saturday 29th November to Sunday 18th January.

Piers’ newest piece of writing, I’m Not Being Funny, will run at the Bush Theatre from May to June 2026.
