Life and Death in the Warehouse nominated for an International Emmy!

Congratulations to Helen Black and the Life and Death in the Warehouse team for receiving a nomination for best TV Movie/Mini-Series at the 2023 International Emmy Awards!

Written by Helen Black, for BBC Studios and BBC Wales, Life and Death in the Warehouse is an authentic exploration of working conditions in distribution centres. Based on extensive research, the fictional drama tells the story of two childhood friends reunited in a warehouse, and quickly devolves into a nightmare of surveillance and harassment to keep ‘pick rates’ at one product every 30 seconds, putting lives at risk.

The International Emmy competition is the pinnacle for recognising excellence in television around the world, with nominations spanning 20 countries across 14 categories.

Winners will be announced at the 51st International Emmy Awards Gala in New York City, on 20th November.

Helen’s hard hitting single drama is available to watch on BBC iPlayer.

Helen Black is represented by Frances Arnold.
