Mark Brotherhood’s comedy-drama Ludwig is being remade in the US. The new show, titled ‘Rabbit’, has just received a pilot order from ABC.
Rabbit will follow a similar premise to Ludwig but this time set in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and will be written by Megan Ganz and Humphrey Ker, writers on Mythic Quest and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Mark Brotherhood and David Mitchell will executive produce.
Ludwig recently became the most-watched scripted show in Britain in 2026, with the series 2 premiere garnering over 9 million viewers. Series 3 is already in production, and a Christmas special is due to air in December. Ludwig S2 launches on BritBox on October 13th.
