Mentors announced for the HETV Skills Fund New Writers Programme 2023 – including Nathaniel Price

Dancing Ledge and ScreenSkills’ High-end Television Skills Fund have announced the list of eight TV writers who will be mentoring the ‘next generation of screenwriters’ in the HETV Skills Fund New Writers Programme 2023.

The New Writers Programme invites mentors to choose a new writer whose work they have been impressed by, with the new writer given a non-refundable bursary to write a pilot episode of their own original TV series. The mentor will give regular feedback through the process and help place the project with a production company and/or broadcaster with a flexible timeframe.

Nathaniel Price will be mentoring Nathan Queely-Dennis.

Nathaniel Price is a writer for film, television, theatre, and radio. Nathaniel wrote two episodes for the acclaimed BBC1 drama Noughts & Crosses (Mammoth Screen/BBC), episodes for Tin Star II & III (Kudos/Gaumont/Sky) and The Outlaws S2 (Big Talk/BBC). Nathaniel is currently adapting Bernardine Evaristo’s Mr Loverman (BBC/Fable Pictures), due to begin filming later this year.
