Neil Biswas is lead writer on original series Stan Lee’s Lucky Man, which he co-created for Carnival Films/Sky 1. Shooting on the 10 part series, which stars James Nesbitt as London Met’s Harry Clayton, began on the 30th March. Clayton’s personal and professional fortunes are dismal – whilst he struggles to pay off colossal debts to a crime boss, his gambling problem has driven his wife to leave him and his boss thinks he’s in league with the devil. But a chance meeting with a mysterious women leaves him with a bracelet that can control luck, enabling Clayton to turn things around.
The series will air in 2016 and was commissioned by Sky 1 director Adam Macdonald, head of drama Anne Mensah and commissioning editor Cameron Roach.
Carnival produce in association with Stan Lee’s Pow! Entertainment. It will be exec produced by Lee, Carnival’s Gareth Naeme and Richard Fell, Sky’s Mensah and Beverley Booker. Neil is co-exec producing alongside Stan Lee’s producing partner Gill Champion.
