Previews for Barking In Essex open 6th September

We are delighted to announce that PREVIEWS for Clive Exton’s brilliantly funny play Barking in Essex open Friday 6th September at the Wyndham’s Theatre and run until the PRESS NIGHT on Monday 16th September.

Freedom finally beckons for delinquent villain Algie Packer. He’s done seven years inside and now he’s coming home to spend his carefully stashed cash – £3.5 million in untraceable notes. But there’s something Algie’s family has forgotten to mention . . .

Meet the Packers – just your perfectly average, totally dysfunctional Essex crime family with a BIG problem. Are they going to be able to cover their tracks before Algie arrives home? Or is it time to go on the run . . .

Lee Evans, Sheila Hancock and Keeley Hawes are THE PACKERS – and they’re in big trouble. Catch them before the police do!

This world premiere is directed Harry Burton and produced by Michael Edwards and Carole Winter for MJE Productions.

BOOKING NOW OPEN FOR ALL PERFORMANCES UNTIL JANUARY 2014
