Joe Sellman-Leava’s episode of the CBeebies series Nikhil & Jay,Nikhil & Jay and The Best Wedding, has been nominated for an RTS Southern Centre Award in the Entertainment or Factual Entertainment Programme / Series category.

The winners will be announced on Friday 17th April at The Hilton – Utilita Bowl in Southampton.
Joe wrote seven episodes of Nikhil & Jay, which TX’ed in early 2025 and are available to watch now on BBC iPlayer. He has written extensively for animation, working on episode scripts for series including Pip and Posy (Magic Light Productions), Tim Rex in Space (Mint Copenhagen), and The Adventures of Paddington (Heyday Films).
