RTS Award Nominations 2013

Debbie Moon‘s original series Wolfblood has been nominated for a second RTS Award in the new category for Children’s FictionWolfblood won the RTS Award for Best Children’s Drama last year. The first series of the CBBC/ZDF co-production was picked up for distribution by Disney. The second series TX in September 2012 and the third series is currently shooting, with Debbie writing five episodes.

Julian Jones‘ Inside the Mind of Leonardo has been nominated for ‘Best Arts Film’. A 3D genre-busting hybrid of art, scripted drama, theatre and documentary, Inside The Mind Of Leonardo stars Peter Capaldi as Leonardo Da Vinci. It was shown on Sky Arts 2 in March 2013 and had a one-night only screening in Picturehouse cinemas across the UK. It was shortlisted for the 2013 Grierson Best Arts Documentary award, shown at the DOC NYC festival in New York, and won ‘Best Historical Documentary’ at the 3D Creative Arts Awards in LA.

Indra Bhose co-wrote and directed Bollywood Carmen which has been nominated for ‘Best Live Event’. An extravaganza on the streets of Bradford, broadcast on BBC3 in June 2013, Bollywood Carmen was also nominated for the Broadcast Awards Best Music Programme.
