Andrea Levy’s epic novel Small Island, adapted for the stage by Helen Edmundson, has been nominated for Best Play Revival at the UK Theatre Awards 2026.
Small Island was revived earlier this year as a co-production between Leeds Playhouse, Birmingham Rep and Nottingham Playhouse, in association with Actors Touring Company.
Congratulations to the whole Small Island team for this well-deserved nomination!
The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on Monday 12th of October.
