Nancy Harris’ new play, Somewhere Out There You, is opening on the Abbey Theatre stage as part of the Dublin Theatre Festival 2023.
Casey’s new boyfriend Brett is handsome, romantic, and devoted – a dream come true. He writes poetry! He makes quiche! For once in her life Casey is in a relationship with a man who attends to her every whim and desire. But when her suspicious sister Cynthia starts digging into Brett’s past, she threatens to take away the one good thing that ever happened to Casey…
This will be Nancy’s first play on the Abbey Theatre’s main stage. No Romance was produced at The Peacock in 2011. Other theatre work includes The Magician’s Elephant for the RSC in 2021/2022, Two Ladies at the Bridge Theatre, The Beacon for Druid and The Gate, Dublin. All plays are published by Nick Hern Books.
Somewhere Out There You will run at the Abbey Theatre until 4th November 2023.
