Stowe Story Labs announce the participants for their 2023 Connemara Writers’ Retreat – including Cara Loftus!

Congratulations to Cara Loftus who has been selected to participate in the Stowe Story Labs October Connemara Writers’ Retreat, with her script The Ghost of Redmond’s Hall.  

The Connemara Writers’ Retreat is for top emerging screenwriters and filmmakers from around the world, held in Connemara, County Galway, Ireland, 9^th – 13^th October. The retreat offers the participants one-on-one script note sessions with industry mentors, panel discussions, and artist Q&As. 

Cara Loftus is an Irish writer who began her career working as a researcher on award-winning documentary Blood Fruit. Cara then worked in production for almost a decade before pursuing her passion for writing.

Cara’s debut feature film SPILT MILK is set to shoot in November 2023 (925 Productions/MTP/Vico Films).

Cara Loftus is represented by Frances Arnold.
