The Kerryman premieres tonight!

Eva O’Connor’s new play The Kerryman has its world premiere tonight at the Glass Mask Theatre Stage in Dublin.

The show starts at 7pm and will run from 26th May to 13th June.

Cait is an artist newly returned to Dublin, determined to get her life back on track and prove to her mother that she’s not a total fuck-up. Eoin, a proud Kerry man, is working in finance for his sins. He has very different plans – graft hard, retire early, and go home to run his parents’ farm in South Kerry. They are pulled into a can’t eat, can’t sleep, rollercoaster romance.

Eva O’Connor is an award-winning Irish writer and performer. Eva’s work for theatre includes Chicken, for which she won The Filipa Bragança Award at Ed Fringe 2023, and Mustard, which won a Scotsman Fringe First and a Lustrum Award at Ed Fringe 2019. Eva’s other new play For Dolores, commissioned by Fishamble: The New Play Company, will be performed in Limerick, Galway and Dún Laoghaire this July before transferring to the Traverse Theatre in Edinburgh for the whole of August.
