Brand-new animation Duck and Frog announced!

Joe Sellman-Leava and Lucy Guy have both written episodes of the upcoming animation Duck and Frog!

Duck and Frog is the first production to emerge from the BBC’s Ignite Scheme, which was established in a bid to identify homegrown animation talent and to fund them to develop UK-centric shows.

Duck and Frog is a 50×7-minute dialogue-free slapstick comedy for kids aged 7-12, and follows Duck, who must get a new job in each episode when his overbearing friend Frog causes problems.

Duck and Frog debuts on iPlayer on Friday 13th February and will air on weekdays at 4pm on CBBC from Monday 16th February!

Joe Sellman-Leava has written four episodes of Duck and Frog. Joe is a writer and actor with credits on several children’s shows, including Pip and Posy, The Adventures of Paddington and Tim Rex. Joe is also an award-winning playwright and regularly tours his theatre shows.

Lucy Guy has written three episodes, and has written extensively for live action and animation. Lucy’s credits include Pickle Storm, Goldie’s Oldies, Theodosia, Hank Zipzer, Shaun the Sheep, and every version of So Awkward!
