Cara Loftus has been selected by The Irish Times in an article about those to watch in the worlds of film, music, arts, activism and more…
Cara’s debut feature, Spilt Milk, is set in 1984 and follows eleven-year-old Bobby O’Brien who is obsessed with Kojak. Cara tells The Irish Times, “I grew up watching Columbo. I know it’s not my era!”
Cara has a number of production credits on high profile Irish-shot shows including The Last Duel and Disenchanted, but “deep-down” she always wanted to write.
Spilt Milk is currently in post, and Cara is working on a handful of other film and television projects.
Cara Loftus is represented by Frances Arnold.
