Cara Loftus and Eva O’Connor were both in the Writers’ Room and contributed additional story for These Sacred Vows, a brand-new comedy-drama written and directed by John Butler.

These Sacred Vows is a Treasure Entertainment and RTÉ production, in association with Banijay Rights and Fís Éireann/Screen Ireland and will debut on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player on Sunday 1st February 2026.
Cara Loftus is an IFTA nominated Irish screenwriter. Her debut feature film Spilt Milk has won four Audience Awards on its festival circuit and will be released in Irish cinemas on 20th March. Cara is also currently IFTA nominated for her debut television episode of Hidden Assets S3.
Eva O’Connor is an award-winning Irish writer and performer based in London. Eva’s work for theatre includes Chicken, for which she won The Filipa Bragança Award at Ed Fringe 2023, and Mustard, which won a Scotsman Fringe First and a Lustrum Award at Ed Fringe 2019. Eva also adapted Mustard for RTÉ Storyland in 2022. Eva’s new play commissioned by Fishamble: The New Play Company, is due for production later this year.
