The BBC have announced that Girl Troop vs Aliens, High Hoops and Jamie Johnson FC will all be returning to CBBC!
Girl Troop vs Aliens will return for a second series, filming this summer in Liverpool. Julia Kent returns as lead writer, writing four episodes, while Lucy Guy and Mark Oswin, return with an episode each. Produced by Lime Pictures, the second series will see Brighthawk camp transformed into a futuristic, space-themed experience by secretive tech billionaire Orion Vane.
High Hoops will be back for a third series. Mark Oswin has written two episodes, having also written for previous series of the show. Series 3 sees Aoife and the Vipers unexpectedly promoted to the Elite League, throwing Midvale’s favourite basketball team into a whole new world of fierce rivals.
Jamie Johnson FC, is returning for its fifth series. Matt Sinclair has written an episode of the fifth series, and has written for the show since its creation. In this series, Jamie Johnson and former Hawx first team captain Richie Reeves go head-to-head as Hawx Academy collapses overnight, forcing both to build rival teams and battle for the future of the club.
